Million Man March

December 30, 1995 -- State Rep. John Myers along with other Philadelphia community groups hold a "Take Your Neighborhood Back" march and rally. "We are continuing the efforts laid out during the Million Man March," Myers said. We are organizing to take back our community, supporting black-owned businesses, fighting crime and drug activities, demanding and ensuring quality education for our children, and creating more jobs and training programs for our people."

Groups which supported the march and rally included Germantown Turn-It-Over, Northwest Action Committee, United Progressive, Germantown Settlement and Northwest Clergy.
