Since I'm not a writer I'll tell you what our activities director, Sandy Wheatley had to say about the four very talented individuals above: Our Songwriters and Storytellers concert series is a beautiful blend of hit songs by the people who wrote them, interesting and hilarious stories behind those songs, and brilliant performances by world class musicians. These guys have all either written and or been the artists behind multiple hit songs. All four performers will be on stage at the same time. Each will tell a little bit about the song they are about to perform, then they will perform that song. Often times the other artists will chime in with guitar solo's and harmonies. After the song is over, the next artist does the same thing. After each artist has sung one song...it circles back around and they start again. We typically do 3 rounds and then take a quick intermission, returning for another 3 rounds. It's during the telling of the stories that comedy often comes into play with the other artists chiming in funny quips.
