  PATRIOTS DAY!  FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 11, 2015 LOCATION: CLUBHOUSE TIME: 1000 HRS. PLEASE JOIN YOU’RE FELLOW RESIDENTS AS THEY ARE BEING HONORED BY THE DAUGHTERS OF AMERICAN REVOLUTION (DAR) FOR THEIR SERVICE DURING THE VIETNAM ERA. --------------- ----------------- ----------------- Even  though I drafted and spent 1 year in Viet Nam, at the time, I felt this was an immoral war.`  To this day, I still feel that way.  While I appreciate the Daughters of the American Revolution attempt to honor those serving the country, I don't feel proud of my 3 years in the US Army.  So I asked my name not be read at the event with the many other veterans who are proud on their contributions to those war efforts.
