A group of protestors supporting the "Black Lives Matter" campaign took over a Netroots Nation convention, recently. According to NBC News, "Before departing, O'Malley told the convention: "Black lives matter. White lives matter. All lives matter," prompting some heckles and boos in the crowd." Heckles? Boos? WTF? Of course Black lives matter, but it's also true that ALL lives matter. Yes, Black folks are getting a raw deal in the USA criminal justice system. Most are still not getting their piece of the "American" pie, even with a bi-racial President.  I applaud the group for drawing attention to police-involved shootings at the Netroots Nation convention.  I'm guessing Sander and O'Malley would not mentioned the issue.  However, all lives still matter. You can't seriously pretend to care about Black lives and not Palestinian lives.  To do so is mimic those who don't care about Black lives. Black lives won't matter until we get smart and unite with others, globally, to bring new social and economic order. So, repeat after me: All lives matter. More can be seen on my blog: Picture_This!
