It's time to move past the recent story of Rachel Zolezar, past president of the Spokane WA chapter NAACP and was outed for being White. It's time to put this to bed. She did an excellent job as president and a few are upset at her for passing as a Black woman. WTF? I'm not one of those. If this sister wants to be African American she can get a vote from me. She has said that most of her life she has wanted to be African American. The woman even attended Howard University. It's actually refreshing to see someone born white wanting to be black, for a change. I say this as so many black folks want to be white (sadly, all around the world). I'm not one of those folks. This is such a hypocritical nation. Why do I say this? If Bruce whats-his-face can change into an old white woman at age 65, surely Rachel can continue to be a black woman.
