Today is installation day, as you might see. SolarCity is installing 30 plus solar panels on my roof as I post to this blog. There are a number of solar installations in my neighborhood. Sunjevity Solar did most of them. I'm the only second person to go with SolarCity. One of my neighbors went with MCI which doesn't lease. Only time will tell which is the best company for the long term. We'll save a few dollars on the electric bill but, for me, it's all about planet earth and clean air in the future for my grandchildren. I'm no tree hugger, but I'm starting to look at sustainable energy sources. Heck, my wife drives a Toyota Prius hybrid averaging 52 mpg:) By the way, if you're interested in solar energy there a number of companies out there. So far, my installation by SolarCity has been top-notch. My Home Owners Assoc. insisted no electrical conduit be seen running down the side of the house. The installers did a splendid job placing cables totally inside and unseen. So if you are thinking solar you can click the following link, http://share.solarcity.com/heritageshores The company is having some sort of promotion where you get one month FREE solar service if you sign up with the above link. After working for over 36 years in the newspaper business, I feel compelled to let you know that I'll make $250 on that deal. Hey, I need new camera gear and this blog has a negative return rate:) More can be seen on my blog: Picture_This!
