They are putting in Bocce Ball courts in my community. Well, Mr. Skeptical, after thinking who plays Bocce Ball, looked up "how many people play Bocce Ball in the United States" in a DuckDuckGo.com search. 25 million people in the USA have played Bocce according to Evan Weiss on the The Good Men Project Blog.  He describes the game as the sport of the retired, the competitive and the one-armed. A friend of Evan's learned to play with his grandparents, who used water-filled bocce balls. Referring to open bocce, he told him, “You have two hands for a reason.” One hand to throw the ball, one hand to drink wine.
