I love going to the bookstore when my wife goes to her religious meeting.  Barns and Noble in Salisbury MD is my sanctuary during this time. Last week, I am reading some magazine and I see that modern technologies are poised to lighten the load of combat gear used by soldiers. WTF? It would be smarter to not have war. I've come to the conclusion that humans aren't the smartest animals on the planet.
