Besar is a Spanish verb meaning to kiss. SpanishDict.com, which bills itself as "The World Leader in Spanish Translation and Conjugation" is states that besar is a verb meaning to kiss. Since they usually give an example or two on usage of words, I found the example for besar interesting: Spanish -- No estoy diciendo que loas parejas no se besen. Sólo estoy diciendo que no lo hagan en público. English -- I'm not saying couples shouldn't kiss. I'm saying they shouldn't do it in public. Will someone pass this on to Michael Sams?
