That's one of my favorite people in the neighborhood. Bette was inducted into Hall Of Fame of the Eastern Shore Baseball Foundation in 2013.  Bette has been on the board of foundation for over 3 decades and was awarded honor for so many years of service. I saw her working in stadium museum the other night when employees of Heritage Shore had their annual employees outing.  They decided to have it at a Delmarva Shorebird game at Perdue Stadium in  Salisbury MD. After making a picture of Bette standing in front of some plaques and other awards, she suggested I walk around and see the rest of The Eastern Shore Baseball Hall of Fame Museum.  She's so proud of that little part of the stadium. Well, I did take a look and some some jerseys worn by past players.  I could see her in front of those jerseys to make a better picture than the one I captured earlier.  The only thing I needed to accomplish feat was to get her to agree, agree to sitting down in front of jerseys. Bette is a wonderful soul.  She wasn't taken back that I would even ask such a thing.  She sat down on the display case, smiled, and made my night. If I make a decent picture it makes my day, or night in this case.       // // More can be seen on my blog: Picture_This!   //
