Photography by Jon Falk Jon and his wife, Carol, a.k.a The Queen went on their 50th wedding anniversary trip (family celebration in Minnesota). They made it to the party but had to cut it short and return to NJ because she was on crutches due to a mysterious failure of one of her artificial hip joints (right), or a knee failure, or both.  They weren't  sure when Jon sent me these pictures. So one evening while at dinner in Illinois, Jon ordered an appropriate brew to wind down the day. The web provided necessary info in order to reach her surgeon in Philadelphia to schedule an appointment.  Jon feels traveling with a laptop is a smart habit : > I totally agree as I always take a laptop on vacation.   Smartphones are nice but an old geezer such as myself prefers a full keyboard, mouse, a screen at least 12 inches to do serious work.
