Diane L. George was awarded The Department of Delaware of The Marine Corps League's "Marine of The Year" title. She was once an active Marine.  She is now a part of the Delaware Devil Dogs and was honored because of her outstanding service to The Dept. of Delaware, her fellow Marines, and the Marine Corps League, and it goes on ..... Why am I posting this? A neighbor of mine was/is? a Marine and this is the second year he's ask me to take photographs.  I have nothing else to do most morning. It's photography. Being retired and penniless, event provided free entertainment. LOL!!! It also reminds me a photographer I used to work along side, Elwood P. Smith.  He worked well into his 80's as a photographer at The Philadelphia Daily News.  He was quite a character and a proud Marine who wore this huge belt buckle with an emblem of The Corps.
