It seems banking is a real criminal enterprise.  How else could one charge  you $2.50 just to view your own balance using an ATM machine? I switched to Commerce Bank in New Jersey over 10 years ago.  This was a time when they called themselves  the "Yes" bank and considered themselves "America’s Most Convenient Bank."  They were very good back then, until TD Bank Group of Toronto, Canada,  bought them out in 2008. I also moved to Delaware where the branch offices are few and far between.  The closest branches to me are either in Dover or Rehoboth Beach, over 30 miles away.  This translates into a $2.50  ATM fee if I use a another non TD Bank machine. Why do pay day loan outfits take all the heat when bandits such as TD Bank are allowed these outlandish robberies? Yes, I'm going to change banks. No, I'm not going to go without a little fight, as soon as I can charge them racketeering or something. Don't get mad, get even!   *Editor's note:  Yes, the editor knows the cheapest way to get cash out of you banking account is to get it when using a debit card, while food shopping, etc.
