This morning I had to to to therapy for a shoulder injury at the Mears Health Campus, a part of Nanticoke Hospital's health services, in Seaford DE. First surprise was seeing a guy from my community getting therapy ahead of me. After completing my therapy I needed to get a few x-rays. I could have them taken in a nearby building on the same campus. My next surprise was seeing another person from my community welcoming patients, as seen above. She volunteers as many of our seniors donated their time to help local organizations. Many of the folks who moved into our "55 and better" development don't settle for sitting around idle. There are a ton of activities for them. Even still, many work as volunteers in local community organizations.
