I wasn't getting any emails from my reminder program, recently. After putting in a service request to my Internet service provider, Network Solutions, it became obvious the help desk folks weren't very helpful. This meant I would have to help myself if my problem was to be eliminated anytime soon. Back in 2006, when I could still write computer programs in Perl, I wrote something to email me reminders. The reminders would alert me to tasks I needed to perform, such as "Wayne has therapy at Nanticoke" as seen above. That program should have had a spelling checker too, right? It seems my program wasn't authenticating with the mail server on faircloth.org. Network Solutions may have changed something because I needed to replace a Perl module in my program to get back on track. So now I'm receiving email from my Perl scripts.
