I shot this of blues musician, Sonny Rhodes, after one of his gigs at Dover Downs  in Dover DE, in 2008.  Sonny is well known and respected. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonny_Rhodes I came across the image while searching for family photographs.   Everything I have shot for the last 10 years or more has been in digital format.  Since it is so hard to keep track of thousands of digital files, my searches must include digging through multiple folders on multiple computers. Films was so much easier.  For some people, a roll of 36-exposures could last  for months as they would take a few pictures and keep the film in camera until the next event.  Months later when the film was finally completely used, then it was off to the drugstore for processing. Today, every time you turn on the camera you'll take a hundred pictures, it seems. After realizing I could find family photographs printed  over 30 years ago in a cardboard box, I  decided to return to a tried and true method of archiving images.  I have decided to keep all the digital files but only print the pictures I want to keep.  With this solution I'll need a bigger shoe box.
