This shoe repair shop owner lived in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.   I met him in 2006 while on a trip to Mexico with a friend,  Alejandro A. Alvarez.  The repairman was a childhood friend of Alejandro's father and I found out about his passing from Alex on Facebook. Out of respect for his father, Alex would always visit the store owner if he stopped in San Luis Potosi visiting family. I'm saddened for the loss but pleased that I remembered meeting this man. Once we leave this life, and we all will, hopefully there will be pleasant thoughts to remain.
