That's yours truly back in the 80's with a computer I used to love.  That would be a Macintosh 128K computer.  Being  the owner of an Apple II Plus, this "toaster" computer really caught my fancy. According LowEndMac.com: .. Equipped with 128 KB RAM, 64 KB ROM, a 3.5" 400 KB floppy drive, a 1-bit 512 x 342 pixel b&w monitor, a mouse, and a couple applications (MacWrite and MacPaint), the Macintosh was destined to change the face of computing forever - it not only created the Mac look and feel, it also inspired forthcoming versions of Microsoft Windows and several other windowing interfaces. Well, this picture of almost 30 years doesn't even reflect my feelings for Apple Computer Inc. today.  I have no love for the company, nada , zilch! Over the years I have come to see Apple Computer Inc. and its products as overpriced,  with buyers who behaved like the conformists seen in the famous 1984 Macintosh ad. Being an Apple Computer fan during the 80's usually meant a dislike for Micro$oft.  Besides being Apple's competition, Microsoft had what we felt were unsavory business practices to keep its market share.  Apple Computer lost its way, and now sues to keep market share. As time passed I discovered open source and free software.  Today, I have two computers.  One is a Windows XP-64bit workstation used for Adobe Photoshop and the other is a  OpenSuse 12.2 linux computer.  Both of them are over 5 years old.  Just about everything I do is done on that linux box. As far as any Apple Computer products in my life... I grew up.  I have been there, and done that!!
