My grandson, uses a "noodle" to float for a few seconds by himself.  For the past couple of years, he has not wanted anyone to let him float alone because of fear.  Today, he overcame the fear and enjoyed himself. I reminded him that if he would hold the noodle as tight as he was holding me around my neck, he'd be fine. Having other children in pool he knew may also helped him go solo. Today, he made another milestone in his journey through life.
