After 3 or 4 days hovering near 100 degrees, the pool felt very good today.  At least that's what I was told. When we arrived at the pool I was expecting it to be crowded and no place to sit. The pool was almost empty. It had been closed earlier because of the sound of thunder.  It was like having a private pool.  With clouds still overhead to temper the sun, it turned out to be a nice day for a swim.
