Today I took photographs of the 10th Anniversary Awards Ceremony and Luncheon.  This was to celebrate the Candace Women of Achievement. The Southern New Jersey Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women puts of this affair annually and have hired me for 5 years in a row. They mainly want pictures of speakers, award winners, tables, and new inductees into the organization, which I provide. After years as a photojournalists, I seek to document an event.  Therefore, I not only take the pictures they expect to see but I want to present a visual story of their events. The picture above is the winner of 50-50 drawing held during this years event. People go to these events to have fun and enjoy themselves. That's what I want to show. In my pictures, I go for the raw emotions.
