I donated $10 as an "investment" to Common Cause to help Montana amend its Constitution and overturn Citizens United Vs. FEC, one of the most dangerous Supreme Court decisions in living memory. Q. Why, do you feel this is an investment, Wayne? A. If citizens can overturn the decision I might be able to live in a country where the government will answer to "the people", and not the "the corporations." That should translate into a bigger than $10 savings for me as corporations pay more taxes and be bailed out less. The donation was the effort in the state of Montana a few days ago. Today, I noticed activists in the state of Vermont are planning a similar action. If nothing else then it'll be a $10 lesson to determine if I can help to change something affecting me on a national level.
