Every now and then, I'll pick up a Spanish language newspaper to learn a word or two. I figure at this rate, by the time I'm 90, I'll be able to speak the language. Look, I'm retired so I can take a leisurely pace. The paper had a little humorous article about car names. It seems the Japanese car makers may need advisers when naming cars. At first glance, the Nissan Moco and Mazda Laputa seem fine. Fine, unless you speak Spanish. Moco is snot, and laputa( la puta) is whore in Spanish. Since I only know about 67 words so far, any of my bi-lingual can correct me if I'm wrong:)
