Tonight was the kickoff of The Delmarva Celebrity Dance Off. This event is modeled on a "Dancing With The Stars" type competition.  If you came here from another planet: A celebrity is paired with a dance instructor in the dance contest.  The Delmarva event is to raise money for the Cancer Support Community-Delmarva  located in Salisbury MD. Last year I danced with Kim Messick to take home 1st place.  Our dancing wasn't bad but I think we won because Kim raised so much money. We would had to fall off stage not to place in the top three:) This year my "celebrity" dance partner is E.J. Fox, assistant program director for Delmarva Broadcasting Company. She is also the Cat country music director.  So since I like salsa and she likes country, it seems like I'm in "salsa country."   Delmarva Broadcasting Company not only owns the country station but WICO  92.5 FM/ 1320 AM, talk stations, plus Smooth Jazz WQJZ 97.1 That one of my favorite station, WQJZ, the jazz station. E.J. and I may get start practice this weekend. She seems eager to get going.
