An employee of a local landscaping company checks water being blown our of my home irrigation system. Just as one should worry about water pipes freezing in a house, he/she should have concerns about the outside pipes in an irrigation system.  Should water be left in them, there's the possibility of damage in low temperatures. The irrigation guy told me I had a few months,  till around January, before the ground remained below freezing. I'm early but worry free!
