The young man driving this vehicle was coming out of the Food Lion grocery store's parking lot when he heard a loud bang. Besides the bang there was an abrupt fallen in the front side of station wagon. After getting out he finds his front wheel had fallen into a pothole/sinkhole. It seem during construction of a pipeline going past the store, a hole was dug to facilitate efforts. The 3 foot diameter hole was filled with dirt and covered with asphalt.  I'm guessing that during the rain over the past day or so, water got under the repair. I say this because it was like soft mud around the tire.
