Yo, Wayne - Go out on the golf course. Find a high spot over a low spot. Dig a small hole in a sand trap if necessary. Compose a wide angle photo of yourself gripping the club handle, not showing the actual club end. Self timer a few times until you have a dramatic shot of your poised with your "camera driver". Be sure to have the string running to the bottom and then out of the frame. Put your first self portrait golf club photo in the next blog post. Cheers. J F - --- --------- ------------- --------------- ------------ My friend and viewer of this blog, Jon Falk, sent me the above note after yesterday's blog post.  At the Men's 9-Hole Tournament Dinner, the guys gave me a gag golf club which had a camera attached.  This way, I could take my own picture since they felt "you never get your picture taken" as a photographer. Below is a picture of the "gift". So I took Jon's advice and went to a practice trap to complete this gag. I used a Nikon D70 camera instead of the throw-away camera.  Since there would be a bright sky behind me, a flash unit was used to lighten my face.  There's a remote in my hand which triggers the camera.  Out of about 50 tries, a  couple worked out OK. Not paying close attention to Jon's instructions,(Be sure to have the string running to the bottom and then out of the frame) the string is running out the top of the picture.  I should have tied it about 4 inches away from bottom of golf club and below camera lens. It was getting late in the day and I had to get home and cook dinner.  That's my story and I'm sticking with it. Thanks, Jon:)
