Well, it's not totally true about me never getting my picture taken. At the 2010 Men's 9-Hole Tournament, I got my picture taken by someone who realized this was the time to get a picture of me. I was covering the tournament dinner for our community newsletter, The Heron. Bill Atwood mentioned my name, and told the crowd how I was always shooting pictures at events and never got my picture taken. Bill has warned me the previous day he had a surprise for me. I don't like surprises and knew he was up to something. While he was talking, a young woman asked for my camera to take a few pictures of me. "What button should I push" she asked. I passed her the camera and didn't think much about it. Bill goes and gets a plastic bag from a corner of the room. He pulls out this funny driver built just for me. It had a camera mounted on head of the driver with a string leading to the grip, available to trip the shutter and take my picture. I cried laughing. Folks were rolling on the floor, well almost. After this little joke I continued to take pictures of other getting "gifts" from Bill. He did a wonderful job and all had a great time. Oh, I figured none of the picture taken of me would come out. Was I wrong!
