That is my son-in-law, Ben, and that's lettuce on the grill. Yeah, I couldn't believe it either. Both of my son-in-laws use charcoal, not gas to fire a grill, so they knows their way around a grill. I've seen pork, beef, chicken, sausage, hot dogs, hamburgers, turkey burgers and even pizza done on a grill but not lettuce. It was delicious! I'll have to do this next time company comes over to my house.  It was a grilled  Romain lettuce with a Blue Cheese Bacon-Vinaigrette recipe found on the Food Network website. I told Ben's father, Benjamin Vaughan, Sr., that I had one question when both daughters told me they were in love and wanted to marry the luck guy.  I asked "does he use a charcoal or gas grill"? We had a nice laugh:)
