One of the benefits in living farm country is the availability of  real "fresh" fruits and vegetables.  Take the strawberries up above.  I saw them at the Fresh to Your Produce farm market in Bridgeville on Seashore Highway, near the railroad tracks.  These were grown just a few miles from the market and picked maybe yesterday. Now, that's fresh. In other words, they weren't trucked in from Mexico, Chile or a thousand miles away. When I need fresh grapes in December, Mexico, Chile  or a thousands miles away to find them is OK with me.
