Just before the turn of the New Year, Arianna Huffington asked Huffington Post readers to move their money from big, bailed out national banks to small, stabile community banks. In the past week, we've had thousands of people get on board our Move Your Money campaign. From Stephanie Frost, who made a YouTube video of closing her Bank of America account to the hundreds of citizen journalists who are telling their story on the site. If you haven't already, I urge you to visit  MoveYourMoney.info and watch the video. If you're interested in moving your money, there's a tool supplied by IRA (Institutional Risk Analytics) that will tell you which banks near you have the best track record. And of course, don't forget to tell us about your local bank on the Huffington Post. The Move Your Money campaign is sure to stay in the news for a while. We've already started collected success stories from folks who have closed their accounts with the bailed out banks in favor of credit unions and community banks.
