Jon Falk was driving around one rainy nights with his  Canon S90 and shot blurry Rainy Night Neon pictures.  He then reduced the file resolution and size, then claimed they were done on an iPhone. When he sends his series of Rainy Night Neon photos out through iPhoto, all of the EXIF data gets stripped out, so he figures no one will be onto to him.  He says  "iPhone will be  my story and I'll stick to it" . Why? He thinks if done on an iPhone he will find  success and guru worship within the "hungry for heros' digital/Internet community. If done as just digital photos on a high end pocket camera nobody will pay attention. Retired folk don't have enough to do when the grandchildren go home:)
