My faithful companion, the Canon PowerShot SD400 was sent in for repair.  This is the camera is the one I  keep on my belt and is part of my daily attire.  Most of the pictures on this blog is produced by that workhorse.  While I wait for the return I'll put some of my older pictures up. Above are Barbara Capoldi, Everyly Figueroa and Sonya Elmore leading more than 4,250 people trying to beat the Guinness World Record of 3,858. Philadelphia Mayor John Street later proclaimed "We are the salsa capital of the world!" At Salsa on the Parkway July 3rd 2004 Philadelphia PA, people thought they had broken the Guinness Book of Records performing a salsa routine.  Barcelona Spain held the previous record.  They danced to "Yay Boy" by the group Africando. Unfortunately, some glitch in the method used to report event properly to the Guinness Book of Records meant the record was not officially broken.
