That's jambalaya on the plate. Maya, my oldest daughter, loves to cook.  She took after her dad.  On a recent visit, she cooked jambalaya among other things. No only does she worry about taste but the presentation of the food as well.  If I had cooked this, it would have been "here's a spoon, go get yourself some out of the pot".
