That's a good friend of mine, Alejandro A. Alvarez. I've known Alex since he and I worked together at the Philadelphia Daily News back in 1993. He's still working there as a photojournalist. Since my retirement we occasionally meet in Middletown DE for lunch as it about midway between his home in Philadelphia PA and mine in Bridgeville DE. We always meet at a Mexican restaurant named Tequila. This restaurant has good food and we just happen to go there the first he came to Delaware. If we lunch in Philadelphia there's a Vietnamese joint we like. It was so warm today that Alex decided to ride his motorcycle down. That's why the helmet. In 2006 he and I went to visit some of his family in Mexico. No, he's from Detroit MI but we visited some of his family in San Luis Potosi and a few in Zacatecas. I have some pictures from that trip up on my website.
