That's our 16-month grandson, Naji, opening the door to the guest room. We did not teach him this. He knows that doors open and close. Naji also knows how to explore and touch things. I'm guessing he pulled on the handle and the door opened. Bingo! It wasn't long before he was closing the door just to open it.
