According to wikipedia.com "The Postman Always Rings Twice" is a crime novel by James Cain which was adapted to the movies 4 times. Today's post is not about a postman as the novel doesn't have a postman as a character either(you've got to click the above link to understand the title). I only went outside today to get a picture of my neighbor across the street shelving snow. Once outside there were so many other people cleaning driveways that I decided to clean mine also.  Talk'n about keeping up with the Jones's. Our postal carrier was seen coming down the street delivering mail.  I got a couple of  frames then continued to chat to  and shovel snow.  About 5 minutes later, here comes the postal carrier around the block again.  That's twice around the block. We asked her if she forgotten something. "No" she replied "I had to drop off  the cup someone gave me full of hot chocolate". She deserved it on such a nasty day. Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds
