Bridgeville DE Jan. 31, 2009: Tom Connor, the president of The Friends of Bridgeville Library signs his name on a steel beam. The library group held a tour and beam signing of the new facility under construction. For more information contact Karen Johnson at 302-337-7401 if you care to make a donation:) After being spoiled by the Cherry Hill Library in New Jersey I've decided to see if the new library will have a coffee shop. All of us don't go the the library for books.  I can find anything I need on the Internet. It is good that many public libraries provide Internet access to residents. Don't think libraries, think Barnes&Noble or Borders Book stores.  I can spend hours in a bookstore and seldom ever buy a book( they're cheaper on Amazon.com) but spend money on coffee, tea or a cookie.
