Sometimes I have to put away by constant companion, a Canon PowerShot 450 digital camera, which is worn on my belt. It's part of my dress.  I put on underwear, pants, a shirt, and this camera daily. While this camera is grea for my blog and vacation pictures it's basically a consumer level camera for the masses. Sometimes I need more control and features than the PowerShot can provide. That's when I have to pick up my Nikon D-70 which is a little more advanced. The above picture used my electronic strobe units to balance light on the children against light coming through the window. I can't use electronic flash with my Canon. One of these day I may be able to get a professional camera like the Nikon D-300( around $1500) or the top-of-the-line D3( from $3900-$5000).  Yeah, right! I'm not too worried about an expensive camera because that won't make me a better photographer.  Let's get serious, it's the guy/gal whois pointing the camera that makes great pictures or not. Cute kids also help:)
