I was on my way to the county dump ended up behind someone else traveling to the same destination. It was like pickup truck day at the dump. Well, once I returned home my neighbor told me I should have sold my discarded bird bath at a yard sale. Instead paying $4.72 to dump it, someone would have paid at least $5 and carried it away. At $4 a gallon and a 50 mile round trip we're talking $8 worth of gas.  So that's a total of $12.72 to dump that bird bath.
