Photography by E.W. Faircloth   Dessert is a course that typically comes at the end of a meal, usually consisting of sweet food but sometimes of a strongly-flavored one, such as some cheeses (according to Wikipedia). I took the above shot for our camera club which meets monthly.  Our project for the month was to take pictures of food. A deal was made with the chef of our clubhouse restaurant.  I would give him pictures if he would set me up with some food to shoot.  When I arrived the food wasn't ready so I decided to shoot the dessert tray to kill time.  Later, I shot the beautiful dishes he created.  The dessert shot was captured with a macro lens.  It was lit with two medium sized lights bounced off of umbrellas. My Nikon D70 was the camera of choice.
