My wife is all the above but I'm speaking of the table saw right now.  Yes, that's my wife Margo in a woodworking certification class.  She and I had to take the class in order to use the woodworking shop just built in our community.  We learned to use the table saw above which was designed by a physicist. It's almost impossible to cut off a finger or other body part as long as the special safety feature is not disabled.  Anything that smart is also expensive. There are many other topnotch tools in the wood shop I want to make wooden bowls and fountain pens using the lathe.  Margo wants to make crown moulding and stuff for the house. Over the 30 plus years of marriage we've learn to paint, hang wallpaper, remove wall paper, install toilets, lay ceramic tile, spackle, minor roofing, replace windows, etc.  It's good to learn new things.
