A nice day for an unscheduled stop left these young ladies with fresh strawberries. Linda on the left made a surprise stop at a local Bridgeville DE farm to allow the seniors to pick strawberries. She is the bus driver, guidance counselor, go-to-woman, friend, and etc. to seniors of the Bridgeville Senior Center. In the rear is my mother-in-law, Mary. Next is another Mary and Maybel on the right. It's hard to see the berries as the field is overgrown with grass and weeds. I think the farmer let them pick as many as they wanted for $.25 cents a basket. My mother-in-law and her buddies have a great time. They spend more time going places than me.
