Tonight, Margo and I went to the movie theater in Dagsboro DE. It was there I saw the above poster. Sometimes things happen by accident to produce better results. Take the movie poster above. I tried to photograph the poster using available light but the theater lobby was just too dark. Yes, I got an image but it was dark, muddy and soft. It was then decided to use flash. A shot directly in front of poster produced a blown out bright spot in center of poster. "OK, Wayne, move to the side and take a picture", I said to myself. It worked. No flash hot-spot on poster and an angle I like better than boring straight on. Adobe Photoshop used to drop background. For all the geeks out there. I used Adobe Photoshop 7.0 on my linux box with the help of WINE(Not a Windows emulator). Yes, I have CS2 running on Windows XP but only use Windows when I have to. That's only when I need to run Photoshop CS2 or Adobe Lightroom. I use SUSE 10.3 version of linux to do just about everything. America isn't about freedom, linux is about freedom.
