Time on shoot: 45 minutes in sunlight To me, the second shot is much better. The buds are saturated with color and sharp-as-a-tack(focused very well). The branch is also sharp and full of detail. What else is different? The second was shot with my Nikon D-70, 55mm 2.8 macro lens. This is a true close-up lens which uses the optics of glass to get close. No excuses this time.
