The Mickey Mouse sign above seems so inviting, doesn't it? I saw this on Route 535 in Orlando Florida near our timeshare. It reminded me of both my daughters asking if we were going back to Disney World, as they had new stuff. I don't think so. This place was a vacation destination two times. For my daughters, it may have been 4 times, including twice as adults. I tend to avoid the packaged tourist attractions on vacation. Once we went to Colonial Williamsburg and I hated it. Come to find out most of it is fake. While excavating if someone one finds a brick they then build a house of that period around the brick. That's not my idea of a colonial neighborhood. On that same vacation I discovered a park the locals used. It had walking trails, fishing, picnic area and beautiful scenery. A day there made my vacation worthwhile. Yesterday was good as we spent time on a boat ride. It was just Margo, the captain and myself. A peaceful ride on a lake, a small creek and sites and sounds of Florida wildlife. A little history was also throw in. Priceless. So Mickey, you'll have to wait for my grandson, Naji, to get older for a return visit.
