That's the Sougues leaving Library IV in Williamstown NJ after a surprise dinner for him. Dinner was over about 8:00 p.m. After a 2 hour drive back home in Delaware I managed to post this at 11:35 p.m. Yes, this blog can make deadline. Brenda didn't tell Brother Sougue about some of his friends giving him a retirement dinner. He retired in December of last year so we're sure he didn't see this coming. The food was good and everyone had a good time. Hint: Don't order the blackened salmon as I did. Salmon, it seems to me, is not the type of fish to be blackened. What's all those accent marks in the headline, FRÈRE SOUGUÉ? That's French for Brother Sougue. He's from the Ivory Coast and that's the official language. In fact, everyone at the dinner tonight speaks French except me. That includes my wife. Do I want to learn French? Not in this life. For some reason I like Spanish.
