 This couple seems to be having fun at a Heritage Shores Valentine Party this evening of February 14th, 2008. The affair was well attended as not only were residents of this 55+ community in attendance but the general public was also allowed to attend. I shot pictures for our newsletter, The Heritage Shores Heron.  The development has a thing for birds.  Not only is the newsletter named after a bird but all the streets also.  I live on Widgeon Way. It's the name of duck if you may be as clueless as I was. Of course I had a great time taking pictures of event.  One of the things I like to do at wedding and ballroom events to produce an image like the above.  There are three things going one to make a shot like this.  One, a long exposure of a second or more.  Two, slow zoom for the entire second or more. Three set camera to flash just before the shutter closes.  Expect to waste 10 or 15 images to get one shot.  Who needs Photoshop?
