Photograph by Maya Ebony David No, this is not my large screen TV. It belongs to my daughter, Jamila and her hubby, Ben. This picture was taken 2 days before Super Bowl XLII. I didn't even know who was playing until I put up this post. I'm not a sports fan. When the USA gets into soccer, what the world plays, then I'll pay attention. To me it's joke to call the final baseball games the World Series. Hey sport fans, the world doesn't play baseball. Then, why did I take this picture? Well, at the time I didn't think I would be there on Sunday to watch the game. So I took a picture of the screen to mention later in the week about me missing the event. My other plans fell through so now I can be with the rest of the family as my other daughter, Maya, and her husband, Lhann with also be at Jamila's house for the game. So I'll be there for the fun. I'm going not root for any team but to cook stuff. I'm making some chicken satay. That's the peanut flavored chicken on small sticks. Today, I also stopped by the Little Mexico Restaurant in Geogetown DE to get tamales. I plan to pig out. Make the best dip win.
