Photograph by Maya Ebony David   Naji now about 6 weeks old is following people and sounds with his eyes, can crawl a little and is making cooing sounds. His mother, Maya, took this picture. In the picture she has captured one of the many milestones which Naji will make. Some of those will be being able to sit up,  get teeth, walk, talk, go to the potty, read, write, and the list goes on, etc. Some of the pictures I treasure the most are pictures of my daughters growing up. Beside baby pictures, I have them in all kinds of environments and situations. For example I have them playing together, Maya looking at Jamila in the nursery just after Jamila was born, on vacations, graduations, and such. I have both of them going to their first day of school in the first grade. It makes me feel warm inside to see Maya continuing to photograph the next generation of our family.
